The 84th winner of the 1000 Guineas, held on Friday 3rd May 1907 over the Rowley Mile, was Witch Elm (4/1 fav), a bay filly by Orme out of Cannie Lassie, owned by Mr W Hall Walker. The winner won by 3 lengths in 1 minute 42.6 secs, with 1 1/2 lengths between second and third. A field of 17 runners contested the race which was worth £5,050 (Equivalent to £565,600 in 2017)
